There are many people who picked up the game in order to experience the same kind of racing that they wanted out of those classic games but may end up getting stuck along the way. There are, in fact, some beginner tips for them to know to improve at the game.
7 Braking Is Not Very Useful
Usually, a player will be selecting a car that has good turning stats. This means that the car can handle turns exceptionally well, and requires very minimal attention in order for it to make a sharp turn.
Because of this, it is generally considered useless to use the brakes on the car. It would be better to just let off the gas in order to deal with turns. Not only does this make the turns smoother, but it is much easier to ease off on the gas than to slam on the brakes and then build speed again.
6 Do Not Bother With The Isometric Camera
As it turns out, the isometric camera is…not the best for a player. It will be very painful for a player to try and work around this camera angle, due to it constantly twisting and turning and messing a player up.

Instead, it would be a better idea to set the camera to the Back Angle before getting too far into the game. This will make the game feel more like modern-day racing games. This, in turn, can end up helping a player to improve by leaps and bounds in the gameplay.
5 Use A Car With High Turn Stats
There are multiple cars for a player to choose from in the game. Each car, of course, comes with its own different stats and way of handling, which means that a player would not be able to control them all equally.
It would be a good idea for a player to pick a car that has high turn stats and can handle well. This means, essentially, that the car the player chooses should be able to steer and make tight turns with relative ease, thus eliminating the use of the brakes, and ensuring the player can turn quicker than their opponents.
4 Novice Tracks Are Full Of Turns
The first few tracks that a player gets to go through are the novice tracks. Unfortunately, though, if a player thinks they will be able to breeze through the tracks without much struggling, they will find out very soon that is not the case. These Novice Tracks, despite the name, are difficult for someone who is not expecting it.
There are many twists and turns that each of the Novice Tracks has to offer. A player will have to always stay on their toes, and make sure they are prepared for each twist that may come their way.
3 Finish The Novice Games
One of the first things that a player should do is to ensure that all of their Novice Tracks are finished. This will do multiple things - firstly, completing all of these tracks will net the player a nice trophy. Secondly, it will unlock the rest of the game for the player to go through.

Although it may be difficult at first, a player should be able to get used to the Novice Games very quickly. This, in turn, will win the player’s trophy.
2 Replay The USA Tracks
After the player wins their five races in the Novice Tracks, they will realize that they still have to win five more races in order to have ten more wins. Luckily, there is a quick solution to this - racing through the USA Tracks.
The USA Tracks are the shortest in the game, so it should be very easy to win all ten rounds. Plus, a player just needs to restart after winning. They do not need to hit Continue and go back to the Main Menu after they win their races in the USA Tracks.
1 Experiment With Different Cars
Although it is a good idea for a player to pick a car that has great turning and can handle well, it would also be a good idea for them to mess around with the other cars. Even though turning is one of the huge parts of the game, it is not the only thing a player should worry about.
Instead, a player should also remember to look at the other stats of their cars, and play around to see which one fits them best. With the right car, a player will be able to get far ahead of all their opponents in no time.
