RELATED: Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Should Move Towards The Metroidvania Model

There are a lot of players who are used to the Metroidvania genre, and its many intricacies, and as such they can easily take to the game Moonscars. However, there are also some people who are not going to really get it at first, and as such they need some beginner tips.

7 Collect Bone Dust

Bone dust is one of the best ways for a player to improve in the game. As they progress through, they will collect more and more bone dust - it may not seem like much at first, but it is best for someone to know that the bone dust is very important.

This is because bone dust is one of the best (and only) ways for a player to level up their skills, along with being able to buy consumables such as healing items. It is essentially the player’s currency, so it is best to keep some on hand.

6 Running Away Is A Valid Tactic

There will always come a time when a player is just downright overwhelmed as enemies swarm them. It may seem tempting to try and fight them all off, but it is actually a really bad idea, as it is easy to get overwhelmed and killed.

As such, a player can run away if they so please; there is no shame in it if it keeps the player alive. Being able to get out alive means a player can recuperate their resources and go back for more when they are properly ready.

5 Save The Game Often

If a player has not figured it out yet, it would really be beneficial for them to make sure that they save the game and often. The world of Moonscars is ruthless, and a player does not want to have to backtrack.

Saving the game will ensure that a player is always just a hop and a skip away from where they were, if they end up somehow dying after getting swarmed by enemies and killed off. It will be very beneficial, in that case.

4 Learn How To Parry

Parrying is one of those things that may be difficult for some players to master. This is true in any game with parrying, but especially so in the game Moonscars, as timing becomes everything for it.

Parrying will be a player’s way of being able to simultaneously avoid enemy attacks while also ensuring that they can get some damage in as well. Timing is everything when it comes to parrying, so it may take a little while for a player to figure it out before they can get it right.

3 Overwhelm Airborne Enemies

There are going to be a lot of enemies who fly airborne in the game Moonscars. These enemies are especially dangerous, as they are not limited to the ground, and can pretty much swoop in whenever they choose to.

It would be in a player’s best interest to overwhelm and pick off these enemies as soon as possible, to ensure that they can be relatively safe from them. Although there will be large swarms of airborne enemies, they tend to be the more dangerous enemies to deal with, so it is best to pick them off before they can multiply in numbers and swarm the player.

2 Control The Ground By Dashing

If a player needs to control the ground and where all the enemies are located in order to get everything in one spot, there actually is a pretty good way to do so. All a player has to do is to keep dashing along the ground nonstop.

If a player dashes for long enough, they will be able to gather all the enemies into one specific area. This is because the enemies are going to follow the player - the player actually becomes invincible when they start dashing, meaning they are going to lure all the enemies to them relatively risk-free.

1 Keep On Practicing

Everyone knows that practice makes perfect, and this is especially so in the game Moonscars. Combat is in real time, and as such it will take a bit of practice and timing in order to get it right before they can head off and slash through everything in their path to find their past identity.

Every battle can be used as practice in the game; when the player starts treating every battle as practice for the game Moonscars, that is when their abilities will start to skyrocket beyond what they expected. It would be good for a player to keep on fighting and practicing.

Moonscars is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X.
