The injury happened in the third quarter of the Bengals’ Week 4 game against the Atlanta Falcons, and Eifert remained down on the field for several minutes as trainers put an air cast on him and lifted him onto a cart.
Eifert had caught a touchdown pass earlier in the contest.
He has been unlucky over the past two NFL seasons, playing in just eight games and starting in two due to various injuries.
